Juddi Yacapin
OFW, Japan
Now working in a housekeeping position for a [TBD] in Sakae in Nagoya, Japan, Juddi remembers hearing about Pinoy Luminaries through the school she was working for back home in the Philippines.
“I remember, when we applied for a loan, kahit hindi pa dumating yung visa namin, still, pinagbigyan nila kami kahit to follow pa ang ibang documents. I was really thankful at that moment. At that time when we really needed the money, Pinoy Luminaries trusted us enough to lend us a huge amount,” Juddi shares.
She also found the interest rates “just right,” compared with other lending agencies and institutions.
Juddi has remained in Japan during the pandemic. “Everyone in Japan has suffered from COVID-19. Luckily for me, even though I haven’t been able to save a lot of money, I have managed to keep my job and can continue to provide for my family in the Philippines.” Juddi shares.
She expresses gratitude that Pinoy Luminaries has been flexible enough to grant her an extension to her loan payments.
“Even though we sometimes pay our monthly dues a little late, they are quite understanding, and it took me 9 to 10 months to pay off my loan. To Pinoy Luminaries, thank you for trusting us. I am grateful for your help and hope you continue to support OFWs. I wish for your continued success.”
